procrastinating from cleaning my room…. the wind was so vicious last night I barely slept. I had an eye test today so my contacts are on their way and im now 50% complete on my steps to getting my driving permit. Today was my first day off after 7 days working so I went to Dublin and spent all the money I worked last week earning.

It was great to spend some me time. Im almost finished my ross book and going to start reading classics (*one of my resolutions), beginning with Jane Austins ‘Emma’ which was a gift from Leanne and Eoghan for my 20th birthday.

The fact that I will be 20 next week terrifies me. One other thing that terrifies me is the amount of college work I have to get done by this weekend and the difficulty of making my textiles product. I went into Hickeys today to look at wool/patterns with intention of buying but had to leave because the stress got too much….

Here are the resolutions as mentioned above… hello 2012 and all that…

-Learn to drive

-Go to America

-Read as many books as possible, particularly classics.

-have more ‘me time’

-get at least a h2.1

I dont think Im being unrealistic considering last years didnt happen at all. 

Ive got to go clean my room. When im busy and working it gets messier and messier with no cleaning so now its time to declutter properly rather than shove everything back into the wardrobe and wait for another explosion. I am going to listen to the entire hospice album by The Antlers while doing so as it fascinates me and I havent put all the songs in order yet…. Its like a story in order. I suggest that whoever you are, you do this whenever you have a couple of hours to spare too.
